Dan have been Alaskan resident for over 28 years. They moved here, with their three children, from Wyoming, but both were born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Their children are grown and only one lives in the state. They have seven grandchildren.
They have been running the Bed and Breakfast since 1991. They have met so many wonderful people over the years, from all over the world. We, (the staff) hope you will let us help make your stay in Denali area a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
We also hope that when you leave here, you take with you many happy memories.
Dan has his own electrical contracting business. His interests are: Fishing, hunting, riding snowmobiles and ATV four or six wheelers.
On December 20th, 2012 Barb lost her battle with cancer. Dan was struggling with the thought of closing the B&B (which he did for a short while) but has since decided to re-open Feb./2013. So Barb's dream lives on. Come be a part of their dream, their years of building, growing, and seeing it become what it is today. Dan Claspill is now owner/operator of Denali Touch of Wilderness B&B Inn. (be sure to view our "Founder" section)
